Manno/TI

The renovation of the sewage system of Manno was the ideal moment to also re-qualify all the public/common areas of the town. We were commissioned to create the first area in the Italian speaking part of Switzerland where pedestrians get preferential treatment (Bewegungszone) and traffic must circulate at 20 km p.h. At each of the three entries to the village we placed a fountain. The public areas were requalified without excessive costs, putting in evidence the existing qualities of the buildings.
